This market resolves to the outcome corresponding to the Bitcoin (BTC) closing price in USD on 31 December 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, as reported by CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko (using the average of the two if they differ by more than 2%). The closing price is the last traded price on that date. If either primary source is unavailable, the market resolves using the consensus of credible cryptocurrency data providers (Bloomberg Terminal, Kraken, Coinbase Pro, or Bitstamp). The price bucket outcome is determined by which range the closing price falls into, inclusive of the lower bound and exclusive of the upper bound, except the highest bucket which is inclusive on both ends.
